Other Information:

Terms and Conditions:

The Garden Cottage has a set of Terms & Conditions that we ask all guests' to read and accept prior to arrival. These will be sent with your booking confirmation and you will be asked to accept these when you confirm your stay.

Checking out:

We ask guests to remove any remaining food items and place all rubbish in the bins provided.

Please may you kindly place any dishes in the dishwasher and check the cottage for any personal items.

Finally, if you can leave the cottage keys on the coffee table, close the door and the housekeeper will collect the keys once you have departed. Many thanks for your assistance.

Pet Policy:

A dog charge per week or part thereof will be applied to your booking form. Click here to see rates.

The following dog policy outlines the terms under which Garden Cottage guests may keep pets in the property during their stay - but in all cases this must be agreed with the property owner in advance of any booking being confirmed, along with particulars of the pet concerned (age/ breed/size/ temperament etc). At the point of booking your holiday, you are deemed to have confirmed your adherence to our dog policy terms outlined above and below.

We do not accept dogs under the age of 1 year old and all pets must be fully housetrained and well behaved. Pets MUST be kept under strict control at all times and must not be permitted to cause any damage to the property or gardens or cause any other kind of nuisance to neighbours such as excessive barking.

Pets must be exercised away from the premises and when outside we ask guests to keep pets on a lead at all times. This includes any use of the cottage garden to the rear of the property. If any soiling occurs anywhere within grounds of the property, (including walks in the local area), it must be removed immediately by the pet owner. We ask you to bring your own dog bags for this purpose.

Pets MUST NOT be left unattended at the premises under any circumstances. Pets must not be allowed on any furniture whatsoever (even with covers applied) nor be allowed in the bedrooms. We ask all pet owners to bring their own pet basket with them as well as eating and drinking bowls as the cottage does not provide these items for your pet.

On departure the cottage must be left in the same condition it was received in (please pay special attention to any pet hairs throughout your stay). If any extra cleaning costs are incurred by the property owner to re-instate the property to the condition it was in on the guest’s arrival, this will be charged in full to the pet owner.

Tenants with pets will therefore be asked for a £200.00 deposit cheque on arrival which will be held by the property owner to cover any subsequent damage caused by your pet or for any extra cleaning to the property or furnishings. The cheque will not be cashed without prior notice or agreement of both parties.

POLITE NOTICE:

Due to recent spillage’s with red wine in the lounge area of the cottage, we are asking guests NOT to place their drinks onto the carpet but to use the coffee table or dining room table provided, thank you. Red wine stains cannot be removed from the SISAL carpet laid downstairs and on the stairs. If we suffer any damage due to spillages, please note we will request your insurers to cover the costs to replace the carpet.
